Its that time of the year again where my annual ADAIRS x RJL range launches and boy she’s a beauty!
My favourite piece would have to be ‘Madamoiselle’ which was inspired by my love of tweed. I adore the texture and variation in colours and lustres of a tweed fabric and last year alone wore three tweed pieces which I obsessed over; a bubblegum pink tweed skirt and top, a navy tweed coat and a black and pink, striped, tweed pant suit.
I’ve never seen tweed on a bed and, inspired by fashion, I had the idea to design a tweed quilt cover. Voila- Madamoiselle was born. Featuring a delightful nudey pink base with a white, shimmery thread contrasted with stronger black lines, this design is all sorts of sophisticated luxe which will appeal to the fashion lovers. The euros feature a textured fringed edge with a striking black, velvet ribbon border- I DIE!!!
Anais was inspired by my love of mixing and matching fabrics and textures, and this design features a combination of cotton and velvet quilted, patchwork chevrons in an array off jewel tones which beautifully complement the Steven Baker artwork which sits above my bed in my bedroom. This design is perfect for winter with its heavier vibe and I can’t wait to curl up in it with a book (Ok, who am I kidding, of course I mean an iPhone!) and a warm cuppa on a cold day.
Scarlett rounds out the collection and is a more neutral design which focuses on the gorgeous textural tuftiness which makes this bedding a piece that you want to dive straight into. White is fresh and clean and can be styled in both a modern and traditional home or even a beach house, and the nude pink adds a feminine touch for the colour lovers while still proving its versatility with its cool undertones.
