Who’s THAT girl? Introducing ARTIST Dina Broadhurst

Feminine, alluring, provocative… this is the captivating (and very sexy) artwork by Sydney based photographer and artist Dina Broadhurst, and we can’t help but be truly mesmerised by her incredible mixed media, collage style photographic works that make a BIG statement wherever they hang.

Using photography and collage elements digitally with the addition of dramatic 3D elements, Dina has worked with an array of iconic Australian brands creating bespoke artworks in addition to a showcase of her personal work, side by side and all brought to life as floor-to-ceiling hoardings, the largest work measuring over 40 meters in length as part of a live exhibition and collaboration with Westfield.

Her personal work has a focus on femininity, sexuality, escapism, memory, fantasy, and desire. Dina Boradhurst has a lifelong obsession and influence from the colliding worlds of fashion, advertising, art and design as well as her own journey though the battlegrounds of being a woman, an image of a woman, a mother and a female voice. Her work is alluring and strikes a wonderful balance between the raw, beautifully emotive narrative of female forms.

We have loved watching Dina’s work evolve and find ourselves wandering around our homes searching for more white walls!

Dina’s work is available through her website here and on display at the incredible new gallery space of Studio Gallery Melbourne as well on from their website online.

Studio Gallery Melbourne is holding their Opening Exhibition on Friday 16th March at 14 Dissik Street Cheltenham from 7pm. So pop down to see Dina’s work in the flesh! You’ll find it hard to walk away empty handed.
