Hollywood’s hottest stars graced the red carpet on Sunday night for the 72nd Annual Golden Globe awards, and boy did they impress! Metallic gowns dominated the carpet, with Golden Globe winner Julianne Moore leading the way in custom Givenchy and Dakota Johnson stunning in a strapless sequinned dress with daring front split by Chanel Haute couture.
White was also a huge trend, with plenty of sexy cutout gowns on display, but it was red that proved most popluar, with Allison Williams, Helen Mirren, Heidi Klum, Jane Fonda and Lena Dunham all sporting the firey hue. Celebs didn’t shy away from the plunge either, with Jennifer Lopez, Sienna Miller, Kate Hudson and Jessica Chastain opting for sultry gowns with revealing necklines.
Refreshingly, there was no shortage of risk takers, with Emma Stone looking incredible in an embellished Lanvin jumpsuit complete with oversize bow at the back, and musician Lorde exuding youthful charm in a chic custom pantsuit by Narciso Rodriguez. But it was newly single Kate Hudson who brought the wow factor to the carpet, looking utterly striking in a white Versace gown with seriously plunging neckline and revealing jewelled side cutouts. That’s one smokin’ hot mumma!
