Art with heart | ‘No Peace in Quiet’ charity art auction

Today I’m so excited to introduce you to a special project I’ve been working on for the last few months with Esther Navarro-Orejon from The Project Agency, called “No Peace in Quiet” – a charity art auction and exhibition to raise funds for Livin, a passionate organisation working hard to break down the stigma around mental health. 100% of the proceeds of this auction will go to activating the ‘LivinWell’ education program in schools around the country – arming young people with the tools to tackle mental health challenges and starting conversations to aimed at breaking down the stigma around mental health.

We have gathered some of the countries┬áBIGGEST names in Art – Miranda Skoczek, Stephen Ormandy, Michael Bond, Ali McNabney-Stevens and Craig Waddell just to name a few. Each ones of these amazing artists has created an original artwork specifically to the theme ‘No Peace in Quiet’ and they are simply breathtaking.

Every 3.5 hours in Australia someone takes their own life. For every person who takes their own life, another 20 people attempt to do so. These are alarming statistics and by starting this important conversation we hope to give others the confidence to speak up, seek help and also be a great support network for their family and friends. This is art with heart and we urge you to get behind this important cause.

EXHIBITION: If you’re in Melbourne the artworks will be exhibited this weekend at Format Framing, 51-51 Cubitt Street Cremorne. Open 10am – 2pm Saturday and Sunday.

AUCTION: The auction is LIVE on this link (HERE) and will run through to Sunday 1st July – GET YOUR BIDS IN!
