NOTE: We are HUGE fans of Airbnb but remember to be vigilant during your search. Check reviews thoroughly, and check reviewer profiles as accommodation that appeals to an 18-year-old backpacker is unlikely to hold the same appeal for a family. Also, the host has written their description for a reason…please take the time to read them to avoid a potentially unwanted surprise (e.g. the Shell House notes that there are geckos…so if you’re not a fan of lizards you may not have much fun). Happy Airbnb-ing!
