At Greenhouse and Rebecca Judd Loves, we understandably get pretty excited when images like this cross our desk! What is there not to love about Sage and Clare’s latest range; a carefully curated , considered yet playful collection of wares from some of the most exotic parts of the world, all traditionally and ethically hand crafted by artisans! Traversing through bizaares, deserts and crowded streets with their well trained eyes for style, the Sage and Clare girls, Phoebe and her sister Gemma have been able to pull together a fab array of textiles, furniture and objects that will transform anyones home into a wonderland!
Block printing, hand weaving, crewel embroidery and kantha stitch have been used extensively throughout the range. All of the girl’s designs have been shaped by snapshots of their journey through India Turkey aned Morocco- often sketching their ideas on rickety old atmospheric trains as they made their way through rural towns.
There have been no shortcuts for the clever Sage and Clare crew- their commitment is to grow their product range, continue to push the boundaries with their own distinct style and designs, and wow us each year with new collections to goo and gaa over! The girl’s claim to have itchy feet already and are madly plotting and designing for their next round of global adventures. Safe travels Sage and Clare- we heart you!
